In a moment that will be etched in our school’s history, our softball team has claimed the 2025 IHSAA Softball Sectional Tournament title! This remarkable achievement marks the first time in history that our team has reached this milestone, and it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our athletes and coaching staff.
On May 28, our team faced off against Liberty Christian in the sectional championship, securing a thrilling 12-8 victory. This game showcased our players' resilience and teamwork, culminating in a historic win that will be remembered for years to come.
Leading up to the championship, our team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination. On May 27, we defeated Tindley in the semifinals with an impressive score of 21-8, setting the stage for our championship showdown. Each game was filled with intense competition, and the support from our fans made every moment even more special.

The excitement built as we geared up for the regional tournament on June 3 against Lutheran Christian. Our journey didn’t stop with the sectional title; our team was ready to face new challenges and display their talents on a bigger stage. Unfortunately, we lost to Lutheran 4-17.

This achievement is not just a victory for the team but for our entire school community. It symbolizes what can be accomplished when we come together to support one another. The dedication of our coaches, the enthusiasm of our fans, and the relentless spirit of our players have all contributed to this historic win.
As we celebrate this milestone, let’s rally behind our athletes as they strive for greater heights in the regional tournament. Thank you to everyone who supported our softball team throughout the season. Your encouragement and passion have made this victory even sweeter!
