On August 8, 2024, the Indiana School for the Deaf (ISD) community gathered for a momentous occasion—the groundbreaking ceremony for our new campus facilities. This event marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our school's history, as we expand and enhance our campus to better serve our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
Speeches from ISD leadership and individuals directly involved in the project emphasized the significance of this endeavor, focusing on the commitment to accessibility and inclusivity in the new campus design.
We also want to address a small issue in the event's video recording. Unfortunately, the first four minutes of the video are slightly blurry. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured, the video quality clears up after those initial moments, and we’ve provided captions and a full transcript to ensure everyone can fully experience the ceremony.
The transcript is available.
