Superintendent's Message

As we return to virtual learning on January 4th, we will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 as we move into the new year. Our staff continues to work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our students and staff. I want to express my deep appreciation for your patience and cooperation with the safety protocols we put in place at the Indiana School for the Deaf. A special thank you to our school nurses, residence staff, principals, paraprofessionals, operations, support specialists, and lastly, bus drivers for keeping our students safe.

Reminder, our Health Center posted COVID-19 guidelines for parent/guardian at home-screening tools, isolation, quarantine, and returning to school at www.deafhoosiers.com/health-center. Please contact our Health Center at 317-550-4818 (voice), 317-493-0494 (VideoPhone), or all_healthcenter@isd.k12.in.us for questions you may have.

We hope you had a restful and joyful holiday season. Please continue to do your part to stay safe and mitigate the community spread of COVID-19.
