Junior Nicholle Bradach shows confidence and commitment in cheerleading for ISD and to her squad. She always makes sure to not miss cheering at home games. Nicholle dedicates her time reviewing and learning new cheers. She is, also, persistent in improving her skills. She encourages her teammates and provides positive feedback and ideas. Jerell Edwards, a senior forward and team captain, is the February player of the month. Jerell began contributing to the Indiana School for the Deaf basketball program as soon as he started playing at the varsity level. Jerrell’s rebounding skills cannot be ignored...he always goes in for the rebound, especially against taller opponents. My assistant coach and I always know that Jerell puts forth his best effort and we enjoy watching him compete in every game. On the road game against Attica on February 13, Jerell had 12 rebounds in the first half alone! Jerell has been consistent in scoring and rebounding (in the month of February) with 6.3 points per game while averaging 7.2 rebounds per game. Jerell will be sorely missed and will be hard to replace after he graduates this year.
