Indiana Deaf Heritage at ISD

Indiana Deaf Heritage (IDH) is a non-profit organization, which was founded in 2002.  IDH is governed by a Board of Trustees, and operated by volunteer staff who all donate their time as caretakers of Indiana Deaf History.  IDH also provides financial support for museum projects and supplies needed for the preservation of the Indiana School for the Deaf's museum collection.

Through a mutual agreement between IDH and the Indiana School for the Deaf (ISD), the museum has grown to be a valuable resource.  The museum and archive is now managed by ISD staff, who work closely with IDH to preserve and share the history of the Deaf in Indiana
