Letter to Parents - Water issue

Update: March 4- New information was shared with parents today regarding the water issue at ISD. ISD will offer free blood lead testing to any student on March 15th. Information regarding the testing and the consent form can be found by clicking on the news title above, then scroll down the article to the links below.

The Indiana School for the Deaf (ISD) is working with the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) and Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) after testing found some elevated lead levels in the drinking water in one of the buildings on campus. Information is provided in the links to the letter to ISD parents and frequently asked questions.

Google Expeditions comes to ISD!

ISD students had the opportunity to participate in 18 different virtual field trips through the Google Expeditions Pioneer Program. Without leaving ISD, students were transported to places such as Gettysburg, London, Japan, Dubai, and more!

2015 Commencement

Thirty-one seniors graduated from the Indiana School for the Deaf last Friday, June 5th, marking the end of their time here at the school and with goals far beyond the gates, they made their steps towards their future when they threw their tassels into the air.
