ISD Students
Attend Two Launches of the Space Shuttle Columbia

Mission STS-87
and
Mission STS-90

Thanks to the generosity of ISD's anonymous benefactor, ISD students have had the
privilege of witnessing two launches of the Space Shuttle Columbia from the
39-B launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.  Mission STS-87 launched
on November 19, 1997 and Mission STS-90 launched on April 17, 1998.

We are very grateful to the following persons for their efforts in planning
these incredible experiences:
ISD's Anonymous Benefactor, Mr. Ron Elberger
NASA's Life Science Department
Dr. Joan Vernikos, Ms. Bonnie McClain,
Ms. Rosalyn Grymes, and Mr. Dennis Chamberland
