Tueday June 3, 2008 Day 1

This morning, we met at Indianapolis International Airport at 9:00 am. We had no problems getting on our flight, which left on time at 11:00. The flight was rough at first, but wasn't bad at all once we were in the air. We landed in Orlando a little after 1:00 pm. We got our luggage and our two vans and we were off. We stopped for lunch at a place called Lone Cabbage Fish Camp. It was a casual place located on the St. Johns River. We could see aligators floating in the water as we enjoyed lunch. We actually had a chance to try fried alligator tail along with our meal. After lunch, we checked into our hotel. We're staying at the Hampton Inn, Cocoa Beach. I'm (Kyle) rooming with Colin Analco and I (Michael) rooming with Jose Mast. We wasted no time and quickly went out to the beach. We jumped waves and played in the water. The weather is beautiful. High 80s and sunny. There were crabs on the beach. That was cool. We stayed outside for a while and then came in and cleaned up for dinner. We had pizza in the hotel's dining area. After dinner we got to know each other and made introductions. Now we are wrapping things up and going off to bed.

You cannot go to Florida without going to the beach! This is our first afternoon in the Atlantic Ocean at Cocoa Beach!
