High School

The High School Department of the Indiana School for the Deaf is accredited by the North Central Association. We offer curricula under the Indiana Department of Education Proficiency Standards with emphasis on linguistic and cognitive skills with real-world applications.

Our High School comprises the ninth through the twelfth grades. The curricula encompasses Language Arts (ESL & Reading), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Vocational Classes, and School to Work opportunities. It utilizes technology, especially computers, as productivity tools.

There are seven class periods per day. Extracurricular activities include football, basketball, wrestling, track, volleyball, cheerleading, class organizations, and Jr.NAD.
